With Synergix ERP System’s Project Timesheet Module, we allow each engineer to create a timesheet on a weekly basis.
These office staff or engineers will indicate which project they are working on that week. Their activities will also be monitored as well.
Synergix ERP System will automatically check if it’s a weekend or public holiday, and also daily timesheet amounts for minimum of 8 hours. It also allows different public holidays for different countries, such as Singapore, China and Brazil. Thus, engineers in these countries can utilize the project timesheet.
Costs will be allocated to the project based on:
1. Whether it is normal hours or OT hours
2. Designation – there will be standard rates for each designation, for example
$10 for normal rate for an engineer
$15 for OT rate for an engineer
$20 for normal rate for a senior engineer
$30 for OT rate for a senior engineer
Users can self-generate reports to analyse:
- How many hours are used by their engineers in the project for a period of type
- What are the main activities spent by engineers on each project, whether drawing, traveling or installation
- What are the types of engineers used in each project (based on their job type)
Synergix ERP System allows import of the long list of Bill of Materials into the project costing directly using excel.
When they want to procure the list of items, the engineers can use Synergix ERP System to filter by suppliers or by project phase so that they can send the bulk purchase request quickly to the Procurement department.
The Procurement department does not need to key in the long list of items, thus saving time and minimising mistakes.
During this request course of action, the Synergix System automatically checks the project budget against the requested materials.
Synergix ERP System’s Project Scheduler monitors the progress of project execution and delivery across different project milestones.
This project progress transparency will allow better manpower planning and resource planning to ensure timely delivery.
Resource Planning is integrated with project cost estimation for real-time Cost Management.
Synergix ERP System monitors the billing milestone for each project.
The information will help the Project team to trigger progressive billing on time and reduce the time gap between delivery and receivables!
The billing percentage indicated by the project team will be relayed to the Finance department to be invoiced.
